Agreeva Agrigenetics Private Ltd., (AAPL), is an Agri-biotech startup & germplasm company established in 2022, at Bengaluru, by agri-professionals -Plant breeders, biotechnologists, agronomists and agribusiness from private sector seed companies and Professors from Public sector research institutes/universities- each with expertise in specialised domines and having more than 45-50 years of experience. AAPL has also been registered as a startup, with DIPP and KBITS
Our primary aim is to synergize the high end technologies in plant breeding, agronomy and seed research, in developing novel germplasm and breeding innovations. AAPL will leverage the state of the art genomic research and gene editing tools to increase opportunities in enhancing productivity and yields thereby growing farmers’ incomes and food and nutritional security. AAPL is targeting on cereals, millets, pulses, oilseeds, fiber crops and vegetables. AAPL to provide bespoke/tailormade solutions to seed industry by providing novel germplasm, services of the selection of the right genotypes by precision phenotyping for climate resilience and nutritional traits and to enhance the technical skills of plant breeders and the other seed professionals.
